House Extension Project
Creating valuable living space.

The Challenge

To make extra living space in a relatively small area and enhance the property aesthetically in a cost effective way. We were also asked to remove a heating boiler as part of the project.

The Solution

We built an extension that would allow the removal of the kitchen from its existing location to an extended position. This was a difficult challenge due to drainage works, however, we overcame this by redirecting the smaller drains and reinforcing the mains drain. The extension was built on concrete footings and slab with reinforced steel, and a steel beam installed to allow the demolition of windows and walling. The building itself was built with a corbelling brick finish and extended soffit overhang creating an ornate finish. The small recreation area was enhanced with a decked finish.

This Extension was built and completed to building regulations with supervision and certification from Building Control (Constructions, Plans & Regulation).
